Knee, hip and shoulder replacement surgery may be necessary if you have not seen results from nonsurgical treatments for chronic joint pain or limited range of motion. The surgery involves removing part or all of the damaged joint and replacing it with artificial implants.

Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure used to see, diagnose and treat joint problems. Pencil-sized instruments are inserted into a small incision, allowing the surgeon to see the inside of a joint and determine the type of injury and treatment needed. Because of the less invasive nature of arthroscopy, it generally has a much easier recovery than traditional surgery.

An ACL injury is common in certain high-impact sports. Our orthopedic surgery team is trained to diagnose and treat ACL injuries using both non-surgical and surgical options.
