              GENERAL SUMMARY:\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

              Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice\u2019s spiritual services are designed to assist patients, caregivers, and family.\u00a0 The spiritual Intern <\/span>provides skilled services, assessments, and support to help our patients, caregivers, and families as they move through the end of life journey.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

              \u00a0<\/p>\n

              Essential Duties<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

                \n
              1. Assessment and coordination of spiritual counseling services to support patients, families, and caregivers.<\/span><\/li>\n
              2. Provision of spiritual counseling to meet the needs in accordance with the patients\u2019 and family\u2019s acceptance of this service and in a manner consistent with the patient and family\u2019s beliefs and desires.<\/span><\/li>\n
              3. Coordination of referrals of family members to non-hospice community programs where appropriate.<\/span><\/li>\n
              4. Facilitation of visits by local clergy, pastoral counselors, or other individuals who can support the patient\u2019s spiritual needs to the highest quality.<\/span><\/li>\n
              5. Development and delivery of programs to the community on hospice, loss, and related issues.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
              6. 100% Accuracy and timely reporting to meet all federal, state, and SSRCH standards for spiritual care counseling<\/span><\/li>\n
              7. Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings as required.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
              8. Participates in on-call counseling support as required.<\/span><\/li>\n
              9. \u00a0Assist with funeral services when support is requested.<\/span><\/li>\n
              10. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Professional Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n

                  \n
                1. Education Requirement:<\/span>\u00a0 Bachelor\u2019s Degree from an accredited college or university in the field of religion, theology, psychology, or philosophy- credits qualifying junior status.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                2. Certificate\/Degree\/License Requirements<\/span>:\u00a0 Valid Wisconsin driver\u2019s license upon hire; renewal as required. \u00a0 Must carry car insurance on vehicle used to perform job and maintain an acceptable driving record.\u00a0 Certified in CPR BLS according to the American Heart Association and\/or the Red Cross.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                3. Experience Requirements<\/span>:\u00a0 Must possess the capacity by training and experience in grief or loss counseling to provide for spiritual support of families, including the ability to organize a program of directed care services provided to family members.\u00a0 Will need to possess the exceptional talent required to create and deliver distinguished programs to meet the needs of people who experience loss of any kind\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                4. Communication Skills<\/span>:\u00a0 Ability to communicate effectively with people of all socioeconomic backgrounds.\u00a0 Able to recognize and respond to non-verbal cues and communication.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
