National Youth Free Throw Program<\/h1>\n

The Elks National \u201cHoop Shoot\u201d Free Throw Program is open to boys and girls, ages 8 to 13. The Hoop Shoot is free to all participants and provides youth an opportunity to compete, connect and succeed.\u00a0Several Lodges hold local shoots with the winners moving forward to a State Level shoot.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

More Info<\/h4>

There are two divisions, boys and girls, and three categories in each division. Contestant\u2019s age groups are determined by their age as of April 1 of the current year. Age verification is required so that they may be assigned to the proper age category.<\/p>\n

There are six age groups in the competition: boys age 8-9, girls age 8-9, boys age 10-11, girls age 10-11, boys age 12-13 and girls age 12-13. Boys and Girls in the 8-9 age category shoot four feet in front of the regulation foul line. Contestants must be 8 years old as of April 1 of the current year.<\/p>\n
